| NOTE: You can assign DRAC user privileges only if a DRAC card is installed on a supported system. For a list of supported systems, see the Server Administrator User's Guide. When both BMC and DRAC are present in the system, DRAC takes over and the BMC properties cannot be configured. |

| User ID | Number of the user being configured. |
| Enable User | Select to enable user; deselect to disable user. |
| User Name | Enter the name of the user for this User ID. |
| NOTE: According to the Intelligent Platform Management Interface (IPMI) specifications, this field will accept only American Standard Code for Information Interchange (ASCII) text. Multibyte characters are not supported. | |
| Change Password | Select to enable the New Password and Confirm New Password fields; deselect to disable the fields. |
| New Password | Enter the new password. |
| Confirm New Password | Re-enter the new password to confirm. |

| Maximum LAN User Privilege Granted | Administrator | For the LAN channel, Remote Access users with only Administrator privileges have access. |
| Operator | For the LAN channel, Remote Access users with only Operator or Administrator privileges have access. | |
| User | For the LAN channel, Remote Access users with User, Operator, and Administrator privileges have access. | |
| None | For the LAN channel, no user has access privileges. | |
| Maximum Serial Port User Privilege Granted | Administrator | For the serial port channel, Remote Access users with only Administrator privileges have access. |
| Operator | For the serial port channel, Remote Access users with only Operator or Administrator privileges have access. | |
| User | For the serial port channel, Remote Access users with User, Operator, and Administrator privileges have access. | |
| None | For the serial port channel, no user has access privileges. | |
| NOTE: Serial connection to Remote Access is not available on all systems. | ||
| Enable Serial Over LAN | Select this option to enable the serial over LAN connection for the particular user. | |
Use the following table to check the User Group and permissions for the user.

| Administrator | Login to DRAC, Configure DRAC, Configure Users, Clear Logs, Execute Server Control Commands, Access Console Redirection, Access Virtual Media, and Test Alerts. |
| Power User | Login to DRAC, Clear Logs, Execute Server Control Commands, Access Console Redirection, Access Virtual Media, and Test Alerts. |
| Guest User | Login to DRAC. |
| Custom | Allows you to select any combination of the following permissions: Login to DRAC, Configure DRAC, Configure Users, Clear Logs, Execute Server Control Commands, Access Console Redirection, Access Virtual Media, and Test Alerts. |
| Go Back to the User Configuration Page | Returns you to the Remote Access Users page. |
| Apply Changes | Saves a record of the values that you have entered or selected for each field. |
| Prints a copy of the open window to your default printer. | |
| E-mails the contents of this window to your designated recipient. See the Server Administrator User's Guide for instructions about configuring your Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) server. | |
| Refresh | Updates the screen with latest information. |
