If you do not want to see this box again, uncheck the "Show Tips" box on the next screen. IceWM is a simple Window Manager with a lot of configuration options. Control of these is by editing plain text files. This lightweight, "all manual" approach makes for a fast and responsive environment which does not change unless you tell it to do so. The configuration files are found in your home folder, in a hidden directory ".icewm". The main file is "preferences". Some additional settings are contained in "toolbar". Startup programs are controlled by "startup", and key bindings are found in "keys". You will also find files which control the menu and the theme. This Quick Configurator addresses the main modifications to the IceWM interface found in Vector Linux Light. It works by changing the configuration files mentioned above. You are encouraged to explore the configuration files and learn more about IceWM. Also check out the web site at http://www.icewm.org/.
